Amplifier power gets quoted in different ways, and the difference is large. Continuous RMS is what a unit sustains all evening; peak is what it touches for a fraction of a second. Impedance changes the figure again — the same amplifier reads very differently into 8 ohms than into 4. We publish continuous RMS at a stated impedance, measured under load on our own bench. Worth asking any brand you compare us with: is that RMS or peak, and at what impedance?

Most brands buy generic transformers. We design and wind ours in-house using 100% pure copper — not aluminium or copper-clad. Better thermal headroom, stable output from 200V to 250V, and far less heat over long sets. Backed by a 2 year warranty.

Output transistors from named manufacturers, and low-ESR capacitors rated at 105°C throughout. ESR is a capacitor's internal resistance — a high-ESR cap heats itself from the inside, loses capacitance and lets the rail voltage sag, which you hear as soft bass and harsh mids before it starts stressing the output stage. Reclaimed transistors are the other common shortcut: they test fine at low signal and show their age three hours into an actual event. This is the difference between an amplifier that survives five wedding seasons and one that does not survive the first.

Push the master to maximum and the sound holds. No clipping, no harshness, no distortion creeping in when the crowd peaks. Mids stay clear and vocals stay intelligible — even at the loudest moment of the night.

Tight, controlled low-end you feel in the chest — the way a proper club system hits. But punch without mud: bass stays separated from the mids, so the track breathes instead of turning into noise.
